Bradenton Pedestrian Killed In Crash
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, a vehicle driven by Justin Monroe, 40, of Bradenton was heading south on U.S. 41 around 8:30 p.m. As Monroe approached the intersection of 60th Avenue West, a pedestrian walked into the right southbound lane from the west shoulder of the road, a highway patrol report said.

Smith was struck by a Jeep Wrangler when he stepped into the right lane of U.S. 41. First responders pronounced him dead at the scene.
