Roderick Gene Nielson, 51, killed in two-vehicle crash on State Road 70 in Okeechobee County, Florida

Roderick Gene Nielson of Okeechobee, Fla., was standing in the outside lane of State Road 70, attempting to close the rear door of his Mack truck.

An FHP report said the door of the Mack was swung open and blocking the outside lane.

The Dodge Ram hit the Mack's open door on the right side of the Ram, which also hit and killed Nielson.
