Multiple car crashes send six to hospital late Saturday.

A multiple car crash on I-95 Saturday night in Delray Beach injured six people, four of whom were hurt seriously enough to go to the hospital, and was followed almost immediately by a second crash that had rescuers returning to the scene.

A multiple car crash on I-95 Saturday night in Delray Beach injured six people, four of whom were hurt seriously enough to go to the hospital, and was followed almost immediately by a second crash that had rescuers returning to the scene. Two people were injured in the second crash and taken to the hospital in stable condition. According to Delray Beach Fire Rescue, the first crash happened at 11:11 p.m. in the northbound lanes of I-95 near Linton Boulevard. Of the four people taken to the hospital in stable condition, two were children. After the first accident was cleared, fire rescue units were called back to the scene nine minutes later for another crash involving two vehicles. It appears one vehicle crashed into the back of the other vehicle, said the public information officer for Delray Beach Fire Rescue.
