Sahl's passenger, also 88-years-old, died at the scene of the crash. Sahl was later pronounced deceased at Delray Medical Center. Santini and his passenger received minor injuries.

Two elderly people died, and two others were injured in a car crash Saturday night, according to Palm Beach County Fire Rescue.

The accident happened at the intersection of Lake Ida Road and Jog Road in Delray Beach.

Initial information indicated that a vehicle driven by 88-year-old Jacob Sahl failed to yield to oncoming traffic and struck a car driven by Robert Santini of Buffalo Grove Illinois.

Sahl's passenger, also 88-years-old, died at the scene of the crash.

Sahl was later pronounced deceased at Delray Medical Center. Santini and his passenger received minor injuries.
