A fatal crash has caused authorities to shut down all NB and SB lanes of Jenkins Road near Ceremony Drive in Fort Pierce, according to Florida Highway Patrol.

A pedestrian died Monday morning when she was struck by a pickup in the 1700 block of South Jenkins Road, Florida Highway Patrol said.
St. Lucie County Fire Rescue was called at 5:34 a.m. about the crash, spokeswoman Brenda Stokes said. Anita Sue Knecht, 64, of Fort Pierce was pronounced dead at the scene, FHP said.
