A Port St. Lucie woman was killed this morning after the motorcycle she was riding on struck a mini-van, authorities said.

Law enforcement is looking into a fiery motorcycle fatality at 6:23 a.m. Monday at the intersection of Southeast Green River Parkway and Southeast Charleston Drive, officials said.

This morning around 6:23 a.m., Port St. Lucie police responded to the intersection of SE Green River Parkway and SE Charleston Drive to investigate a fatal crash involving a motorcycle and a mini-van.
This morning around 6:23 a.m., Port St. Lucie police responded to the intersection of SE Green River Parkway and SE Charleston Drive to investigate a fatal crash involving a motorcycle and a mini-van. A 46-year-old woman, identified as Donna Sue Scarberry of Port St. Lucie, was riding a 1992 Harley Davidson motorcycle traveling south on SE Green River Parkway approaching the intersection of SE Charleston Drive. At the same time, Wilnick Cherisma, 52, of Port St. Lucie, was driving a grey 1999 Toyota Mini-Van traveling north on SE Green River Parkway was attempting to turn west on to SE Charleston Drive. As the mini-van turned, police said Cherisma cut off the motorcycle, resulting in the bike striking the right front quarter panel of the van. The crash ejected Scarberry, causing the motorcycle to burst into flames. St. Lucie County Fire Rescue responded to the scene and pronounced her dead at the scene. Cherisma and his 14-year-old passenger were not injured. .
