A Wellington woman has been arrested by the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office and charged with DUI and leaving the scene of an accident.

Deputies say that just before 11 p.m. Thursday night they were called to Summit Blvd and Congress Ave about a possible DUI driver. Investigators say that they found Jennifer Sorgie sitting in her vehicle in the parking lot of a 7-Eleven with the engine still on. Deputies say that her Dodge Durango had extensive front end damage and a blown out tire. Earlier Thursday PBSO Deputies were looking for a Dodge Durango that was suspected of being involved in a hit and run accident in Lake Worth in which a pedestrian was struck.
