The investigation revealed that a white man, who was wearing a reflective vest, had been struck by a vehicle while riding a bicycle. He died at the scene.

Pryor said that Miley sustained blunt force trauma to the upper torso, and that his body was transported to the Georgia Bureau of Investigation Crime Lab for autopsy.
