Crash in Effingham County, Georgia results in one person airlifted to hospital; no other injuries reported at this time

One person airlifted after crash in Effingham County

The Effingham County Sheriff's Office says a passenger who was involved in a crash Tuesday morning at High Bluff and Tommy Long roads has been airlifted to Memorial University Medical Center in Savannah with life-threatening injuries.
It's unclear at this time if anyone else was hurt. The intersection was closed while crews worked to clear the wreck but has since reopened to traffic.
