Woman Dies In Fatal Car Accident in Lee County

LEE COUNTY (WIFR) -- A passenger is dead after police say a woman ran a stop sign. It happened at around 3pm on 251 and Chicago Road, North of Compton in Lee County. Police tell us the Missouri driver ran the stop sign, hitting another car with three people inside. Sixty one year old Ezequiel Rivera was sitting in the front seat and was killed almost instantly.
