Passenger killed in Tipton County car crash; Driver arrested
The pair was allegedly in a dating relationship and were living at the home together.

Karla Wolford was killed Thursday night when the car she was a passenger in went off the path of a driveway and hit a tree and utility pole near County Road 400 South and County Road 500 West in Tipton County. When sheriff's deputies responded to the incident, the driver, Phillip Epperly, 49, was found inside a house drinking a beer, with the body of Karla Wolford on the living room floor. It is believed that Karla Wolford's body was dragged from the crashed vehicle and into the home before 911 was called.
