The southbound Interstate 65 exit ramp to Indiana Highway 19 in Lafayette was shut down Thursday after a tanker truck accidentally dumped between 300 and 400 gallons of raw sewage onto the roadway.
Authorities said dense fog in the area played a major role in the 2-semi crash, saying one semi could not see the other attempting to turn. Both drivers made in out of their trucks safely, and no injuries were reported.
