3 Kansas girls dead after semi, van crash on Kansas Turnpike

The semi struck a 2018 Dodge van driven by Amber Marie Peery, 32, Topeka, as the driver attempted to turn through the barrier wall, according to the KHP.

Laila El Azari, Kylie Lund, both nine years old and eight-year-old Brooklyn Perry died in the crash. Nine-year-old Gabriella Ponomarez, five-year-old Carrington Perry and the driver of the van 32-year-old Amber Perry have been taken to the hospital.
