Lucinda C. Mitchell, 63, killed and two people injured in collision on Highway 24 in Rossville, Kansas

KHP said Christopher M. Mitchell, 61, of Rossville was headed westbound when the car hit a deer. He attempted to avoid it and left the roadway to the right, drove into a ditch a few feet, then turned back toward the road, spinning around and hitting another car.
