54-year-old Topeka man injured in Shawnee County motorcycle crash
A 54-year-old Topeka man was injured late Wednesday in a motorcycle crash in Shawnee County, the Shawnee County Sheriff’s Office said.
Darrell Madison was riding his motorcycle on Douglas Road when he lost control of the bike on a curve. The vehicle hit a ditch, and he was thrown off. He was taken to a hospital in Topeka with serious but non-life threatening injuries. Investigators say he was wearing a helmet.
