John Powell, 21, killed in motorcycle crash with passenger vehicle on S.W. Gage in Topeka, Kansas - police search for witnesses

Topeka police are searching for a witness to a fatal accident Sunday. Around 11 a.m. Sunday, John Powell was driving southbound on S.W. Gage on a Buell Blast motorcycle when it collided with a 2010 Hyundai four-door vehicle at 17th. Powell, 21, was transported to a local hospital by American Medical Response ambulance, where he was pronounced dead as a result of his injuries. On Friday, Topeka police wrote a post about the incident on the neighborhood social media network Nextdoor.com. '€œIt is believed there is a witness to the accident who was driving a black passenger car next to the motorcycle seconds before the accident occurred,'€ the police department posted.
