Motorcyclist injured in collision with vehicle at McLean and Minisa in Wichita, Kansas
Man critically hurt in Wichita motorcycle crash
Sgt. Troy Nedbalek with the Wichita Police Department said the 50- to 69-year-old man on the motorcycle was heading northbound and rear-ended a truck that was stopped to make a left turn.
Since motorcycle crashes often end in serious injuries, victims need immediate help
Motorcycle accidents are more likely to end in serious injuries or death for the motorcyclist, since the rider is not protected from the force of a collision. When a motorcycle accident happens, the injured rider needs immediate, appropriate medical care, the accident needs to be investigated, and the insurance companies need to be informed.
When a motorcycle crash is caused by negligence, additional steps need to be taken to protect the legal rights of the injured motorcyclist or the family members of someone killed in a motorcycle crash. Go here to learn more about motorcycle accidents and claims.
