Police determined that the man had struck a guardrail and left his car. He was struck by at least one car and died at the scene, Fort Wright police said.

Police said evidence at the scene indicated the make of the truck was a Volvo, but no other information is known at this time. Witnesses to these collisions are encouraged to contact the Kenton County Police Department.

Police said they believe that impact caused his ejection into traffic where he was then struck by a tractor-trailer and a van.
