Mother critically injured in Iron Works Pike crash
Iron Works Pike was shut down for a little over an hour because of the crash.
A 4-door sedan containing a mother and baby crashed into a wooden plank fence and overturned on Iron Works Pike near Newtown Pike in Lexington Wedensday morning. The mother was critically injured in the crash and brought to the hospital, while her infant was strapped in a car seat and not injured, although the child was taken to the hospital as a precaution.
