Hardin County girl struck by car, dies at scene

A Hardin County girl has been hit and killed while her bicycle Friday night in the city of Upton. A young girl on her bicycle was struck and killed Friday night by a vehicle. The young girl died at the scene. Emergency workers told WHAS that there car wasn't able to avoid her. The 12-year-old victim was turning from Oak Street onto Kentucky 224, also called Grayson Street, when she crossed paths with a Nissan Altima.
