Jonathan Young, 20, was riding a bicycle on Louisiana Highway 3087 at the time of the fatal hit-and-run just before 5 p.m. Tuesday near Houma.

Jonathan Young, 20, was killed late Tuesday afternoon while attempting to cross the westboand lanes of Louisiana Highway 3087 on his bicycle. He was struck by a 2001 Ford truck, whose driver fled the scene and remains at large. Young was taken to a hospital but died of injuries.
