BUCKSPORT, Maine ' Officers were still working Monday afternoon to try to determine what caused a motorcycle accident that killed a local man Sunday evening, according to the police chief. Coleman was not wearing a helmet when his motorcycle went off Millvale Road around 6:30 p.m. The man who died in the accident is Nathaniel Coleman, 41, of Bucksport, police Chief Sean Geaghan said Monday. Millvale Road curves slightly to the left, he said, and Coleman's motorcycle went off the road to the right, going into a ditch and then across a driveway. The police chief said Coleman was driving a 1998 Harley-Davidson north on Millvale Road when the accident occurred at the intersection with Jacob Buck Pond Road.
