State Police are investigating the death of a 23-year-old woman found dead in a submerged car in Spencer. Police found the woman dead in a 2009 Subaru Outback in a pond near Paxton Road. The cause of the crash remains under investigation. Her name is not being released.

A man suspected of driving while drunk crossed into on-coming and crashed into a truck, killing his 3-year-old daughter and the other driver, the Northwestern District Attorney’s Office said Sunday. The crash occured about 3:30 p.m. Saturday on Hendrick Street in Easthampton, authorities said.

A female pedestrian was struck and killed late Saturday afternoon on Route 6, the Massachusetts State Police reported.

The collision occurred near Exit 8 and the highway was closed between Exit 8 and Exit 7 while public safety officials worked at the scene.
