Bicyclist on ventilator in hospital after collision with car in Bay City
About 7 p.m. on Monday, July 18, police responded to the crash at the intersection of Columbus Avenue and Lincoln Street. They determined a 26-year-old woman was heading west on Columbus and that she stopped for a light at Lincoln, Bay City Public Safety Capt. Mark Turner said.
A 52-year-old male bicyclist was heading north on Lincoln when he and the vehicle collided, Turner said.

Matthews' funeral is taking place at Gephart Funeral Home, 201 W. Midland St. in Bay City, at noon on Friday, July 22. Visitation is taking place at the funeral home from 3-8 p.m. Thursday and from 11 a.m. to the service time on Friday.
