KDPS says the driver is a white male, about 6 feet tall, and 180 pounds, who was wearing a baseball cap and a t-shirt, driving an early 2000's model SUV. Anyone with information is urged to contact the Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety, or Silent Observer.
50-year-old Leonard Harris was twice on Friday night, and while the first car stopped, the second one fled the scene. The driver of that second vehicle is facing charges. Friday night on Mills Street, Harris was hit walking at approximately 10:30 p.m. Police are hoping someone will come forward with information on the driver.
