According to MHP Corporal Kervin Stewart, a Chevy Silverado was traveling south on US 61, when the truck crossed the centerline and sideswiped a Jeep Cherokee traveling north. After sideswiping the Jeep, the Chevy then crashed head-on into an 18-wheeler.
