Police say 79-year-old Jerry Murphy of St. Joseph died when his minivan failed to clear the railroad tracks near Waterworks Road about a mile north of the St. Jo Frontier Casino late Saturday afternoon. Seriously injured in the wreck was 79-year-old Patricia Murphy, a passenger in the van.
