Motorcyclist killed after crashing into car at intersection in Clark Co.

A motorcyclist is dead following a crash around 7:30 p.m. on Major Avenue near Boulder Highway. According to Henderson Police, the 53-year-old man, later id ran a red light and struck a Dodge Avenger. The motorcyclist, later identified as Christopher Boovy 53, was pronounced dead at the scene. Alcohol may be a factor, police said. The driver of the vehicle was not injured.
