Coroner IDs motorcycle rider killed in crash.

The Clark County Coroner's Office has identified the motorcycle rider who died last night as 44-year-old William Donnelly of Henderson.

A motorcycle rider died Thursday night after his bike collided with a pick-up truck.

A motorcycle rider died Thursday night after his bike collided with a pick-up truck.

The crash happened at approximately 9:30 p.m. on Desert Inn Road near Brentwood Street. Police say the motorcycle, a 2005 Harley Davidson, was traveling westbound along Desert Inn, when it hit the truck. The truck was turning from Brentwood on to eastbound Desert Inn at the time of the collision.

The impact forced the 44-year-old rider, later identified as William Donnelly of Henderson, from his bike. Emergency crews took him to Sunrise Hospital, where he died a short time later. The 41-year-old male driver of the truck and a 38-year-old male passenger sustained minor injuries.

This is the 26th fatal crash in Metro Police jurisdiction this year.
