Nude driver leads police on high-speed chase, crashes vehicle
The driver, later identified as Barbara Arellano, 51, of Chamisal, did not pull over when deputies attempted a traffic stop, according to reports.
Instead, she allegedly continued driving at speeds nearing 100 mph.
Arellano crashed into a Ford F-150 pickup while traveling through the Airport Road intersection, the sheriff’s office reported.
When her Rav-4 came to a rest on the intersection’s north side, Arellano allegedly exited the vehicle naked and fled down Airport Road, where she was reportedly apprehended by law enforcement.
