Ledonta Jenkins, 43, died in the incident that happened around 9:30 p.m. on southbound I-25 at Gibson, according to New Mexico State Police.

Mr. Jenkins suffered fatal injuries in the crash and was pronounced deceased on the scene by the Office of the Medical Investigator. The 21-year-old driver in the Hyundai was not injured.
