On arrival, Officers noted an injured female in the roadway, she was later identified as Lisa Gutierrez-Ruiz (43 years of age). Officers learned the involved motor vehicle was driven from 7th Street, south onto Jones Street.

The driver of the vehicle, 16, was on scene when police arrived and assisted in the investigation, Romero said. The investigation continues, but no charges had been filed in connection with the case as of Tuesday.
