Police say a 64-year-old man is critically injured and in a medically induced coma after being hit by a car in Queens Friday night.
Police say a 64-year-old man is critically injured and in a medically induced coma after being hit by a car in Queens Friday night. The man was crossing the street on Northern Boulevard and 41st Avenue when a dark-colored Chevy Blazer hit him, police said. The driver fled west on Northern Boulevard after the accident, according to authorities. The man, who is in critical condition at Elmhurst General Hospital, has a head injury and a broken leg.
