Five people, including four NYPD auxiliary officers, were taken to the hospital following an accident in Queens Monday afternoon, police say.

The four officers were in an auxiliary vehicle traveling west on 73rd Avenue when it crashed with a sedan going north on 172nd Street in Hillcrest, according to police.
All were taken to Booth Memorial Hospital with minor injuries.
It's not clear how the two vehicles crashed but police say no criminality is suspected.
NYPD's auxiliary police volunteer in their local precincts and perform uniformed patrol in their communities.
