Child riding bike struck by vehicle in NW Charlotte, seriously injured
A child was seriously injured after being struck by a vehicle while riding a bike in northwest Charlotte Monday.
The incident happened just before 6 p.m. near the intersection of Rozzelles Ferry Road and Dunn Commons Parkway. Officers were called to the scene and quickly determined the injuries to the child were potentially life threatening.
Medic then transported the child to Carolinas Medical Center. The child's name and age have not been released.
