A man is in critical condition at the UC Medical Center after a crash Friday evening on Interstate 74 near Dry Fork Road.
Jacob Thornes, 22, was heading west on Interstate 74 Friday evening when he swerved to avoid a deer. His truck veered onto the median and went into the air over the cable divider. Thorrnes' vehicle entered other side of the highway, going the opposite direction and was hit by a tractor-trailer. Initial reports stated that Thornes was ejected from his truck, as he was not wearing his seatbelt. THe driver of the tractor-trailer is uninjured. This accident, which caused delays around Cincinnati, is still being investigated. We will release updates as they emerge.
