Woman killed in hit-in-run near Lorain Co. Fair
Gregg Box, 61, of Strongsville, was identified by police as the driver. Box was arrested and taken to Lorain County Jail.
Box is charged with aggravated vehicular homicide, felony leaving the scene of an accident, leaving the scene of an accident, and drug possession. An operating a vehicle while intoxicated charge was also filed against Box by the OSHP.
Woman dies after hit-and-run at Lorain County Fair
Linda Velez, 38, died after being hit by a car at the Lorain County Fairgrounds on Sunday night.
According to police, Velez was hit at 9:09 p.m. She was transported to the hospital by Metro LifeFlight and later pronounced dead.
