Bond was set yesterday at $1 million yesterday for an 18-year-old Ashland County man who was driving with a learner’s permit when he crashed into a car driven by a Reynoldsburg couple on Friday, killing them instantly.

Michelle L. Moore, 21, of Mansfield, was listed in fair condition at Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center in Toledo. She was a passenger in a car driven by Jason D. Bell, 18, of Ashland. Bell and two other passengers, Christopher Barber, 19, of Mansfield; and Nicholas Evans, 18, of Mansfield, were taken to Bucyrus Community Hospital, where they were treated and released.
At around 12:30pm, Louann Widdoes was on Route 4 traveling northbound and entering the intersection with Brokensword Road. Jason Bell, 18, was traveling eastbound on Brokensword Road, failed to stop at a stop sign, and collided with the Widdoes' car. Both of the Widdoes' were killed in the crash, Bell, Christopher Barber, 19, and Nicholas Evans, 18, were injured and transported to Bucyrus Community Hospital, and Michelle Moore, 21, had more severe injuries and was airlifted to Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center.
