U.S. 62 Reopens In Pickaway County Following Multi-Vehicle Crash

Wednesday, November 20, 2013All lanes of U.S. Route 62 have reopened following a crash involving multiple vehicles early Thursday morning.
Deputies from the Pickaway County Sheriff's Office responded to U.S. 62 between Mt. Sterling and Harrisburg at about 5:15 a.m.
According to the sheriff's office, the crash involved two semis, a passenger vehicle, and a pickup truck. One of the semis rear-ended the other semi causing it to hit the pickup truck. A passenger vehicle moving the opposite direction struck all of the debris.
The roadway was closed while crews worked to clear the vehicles and the debris from the roadway.
The sheriff's office has closed the roadway for a time due to debris.
