Bond set at $150K for driver in fatal New Albany crash
Klein ordered McClain be held in the Licking County Justice Center in lieu of $150,000 bond. Klein ordered him to have no contact with Cary's family and ordered that if he posts bond, he must wear an ankle bracelet that monitors alcohol use.
Court records show McClain has no criminal history and no traffic violations in Licking County Municipal Court.
Since motorcycle crashes often end in serious injuries, victims need immediate help
Motorcycle accidents are more likely to end in serious injuries or death for the motorcyclist, since the rider is not protected from the force of a collision. When a motorcycle accident happens, the injured rider needs immediate, appropriate medical care, the accident needs to be investigated, and the insurance companies need to be informed.
When a motorcycle crash is caused by negligence, additional steps need to be taken to protect the legal rights of the injured motorcyclist or the family members of someone killed in a motorcycle crash. Go here to learn more about motorcycle accidents and claims.
