A Licking County man was killed yesterday afternoon when two vehicles crashed at an intersection in northern Fairfield County, the State Highway Patrol said.

Donald S. Hartman, 81, of Ridge Road near Thornville, died at the scene of the crash at Rt. 158 and Blacklick Road.
Dolores K. Tyo, 36, of Pataskala, was in fair condition last night in OhioHealth Grant Medical Center in Columbus.
The crash occurred just before 2:45 p.m.
The patrol said Hartman was driving a car east on Blacklick Road when he failed to stop at a stop sign and pulled into the path of Tyo’s southbound pickup on Rt. 158. Hartman was not wearing a seat belt.
