3 dead, 3 injured in Jerusalem Twp. crash

Police say it happened on the corner of Seaman Road and Cousino Road just before 1:00 Sunday morning.

3 killed, 3 hospitalized in Jerusalem Twp. crash

All three Lucas County residents were in a car driving east on Seaman Road. Alejandro Jaramillo, 26, of Asheboro, N. C.,  was driving a van north on Cousino Road. He failed to stop at a stop sign, and hit the car driven by Mr. Shellhammer. 

Driver charged in crash that killed 3 in Jerusalem Twp.

Alejandro Ramirez-Jaramillo, 26, of Asheboro, N.C., was charged with three counts of aggravated vehicular homicide, all second-degree felonies, following a crash on North Cousino Road. He was arrested Sunday and remains incarcerated at the Lucas County Jail, according to records. 

Hundreds honor lives of 3 killed in Jerusalem Twp. crash

Family, friends, and associates observed three minutes of silence, one each for Robin Shellhammer of Oregon, 60; his wife, Barbara Shellhammer, 56, and their daughter Whitney Meinke, 33, of Jerusalem Township.

Private funeral services were held earlier Friday.

Driver indicted in crash that killed 3 in Jerusalem Twp.

Alejandro Ramirez-Jaramillo, 26, of Asheboro, N.C, was indicted on six counts of aggravated vehicular homicide and one count of failure to stop after an accident.
