The OHP says Holcomb was not wearing his seat belt at the time of the crash. An investigation into the cause of the crash continues.
A Sperry man was killed after colliding his Chevy Silverado pickup truck into trees Sunday evening just after 8 p.m. on 106th Street North west of Peoria. Michael Holcomb, 45, was heading east on 106th Street when it exited the road at a curve and crashed into trees. It took approximately one hour to extricate Holcomb from the wreckage. He was transported to a Tulsa hospital where he was pronounced deceased.
