79-year-old driver dies in single-vehicle crash near Mangum
At around 1:30 p.m., a Ford Ranger with two passengers inside was traveling northbound on US-283 at North 1960 Road just two miles east of Mangum. The vehicle failed to negotiate a curve and the driver, who was identified as 79-year-old Calvin Gaston, overcorrected, causing the vehicle to roll three times and ejecting Gaston, according to a crash report by Oklahoma Highway Patrol.

Troopers said Gaston over corrected to the left and rolled the pickup 3 times – ejecting the driver.
