Janice Fogle, 71, a passenger in the van, was taken to an area hospital and admitted into the intensive care unit, officials said. Three other passengers -- Nathan Edwards, 8, Shirley Blair, 65, and Kathleen Morris, 88 -- were treated and released.
On Sunday evening, an SUV driven by an unidentified 16-year-old girl was southbound on 72nd Street when she failed to stop at the Maguire Road intersection. A Maguire Baptist Church van was eastbound on Maguire, and it collided with the SUV. Both vehicles left the roadway, and the SUV rolled twice, ejecting the driver and 17-year-old Morgan Smith. The van struck a utility pole and flipped onto its top.
