On Wednesday, authorities announced that they were looking for a 2004-2007 Chevrolet 3/4 ton four-door pickup truck. It is pewter in color with a chrome or silver-colored toolbox in the bed.

"Based on the evidence, it's been determined the driver was not aware the young man had stepped off the curb before being struck by the trailer the truck was pulling,” Scott Stevens of the Purcell Police Department said in a press conference Friday.
