Scott Lee Marr, 38, killed, after the vehicle he was riding, driven by a 16-year-old boy, leaves the U.S. 270 roadway near Seiling, and crashes into a tree.

About 4:20 p.m. Monday, Scott Lee Marr, 38, from Laverne, was a passenger in a vehicle that crashed into a tree in Dewey County. Marr died at the scene from injuries to his head and internal trunk. The driver, a 16-year-old boy who was treated and released at a Seiling hospital, was going north on U.S. 270 at County Road 0700 when his vehicle went into a broadslide and hit a tree. The vehicle then overturned. Seat belts were worn by Marr and the driver, troopers said. The name of the driver has not been released.
