22-year-old Mount Pleasant woman killed in Berkeley County crash
A 22-year-old woman from Mount Pleasant was killed in a crash in Berkeley County early Sunday morning on Halfway Creek Road.
Officials with the highway patrol and the Berkeley County Coroner's Office confirm the Chevy Blazer driven by Courtney Leann Adams was the only vehicle found at the scene of the deadly crash.
Cpl. Sonny Collins with the SCHP said the SUV ran off the right side of the road at some point, struck a tree and overturned. Adams was pronounced dead at the scene by Berkeley County Chief Deputy Coroner George Oliver.
