Motorcycle rider killed in crash on Highway 17 near Awendaw
A motorcycle rider died in a crash on Highway 17 Saturday afternoon.
According to officials with the Awendaw-McClellanville Consolidated Fire District, the crash happened at the intersection of Sewee Road shortly before 1 p.m.
When crews arrived, they found the motorcycle had collided with a car.
