Sean Philpot died in a head-on motorcycle-vs.-SUV Collision on Washington Street in Amarillo, Texas

APD says, at 9:18 pm, Sean Philpot, traveling north on Washington, was hit by an SUV coming out of a parking lot, going south. The bike and SUV struck each other head-on.
